Don’t Be a Tin Can Slacker!

There were other things we’d rather forget, the freakish wind storms of 1923 and 1924, when so many trees were torn down and small houses disturbed, and the KU KLUX KLAN of Minneapolis meeting on the Petran Property at the point near the present traffic circle, robed but not hooded, with their fiery cross ceremony. We’d rather recall the 1923 Retail Merchants Trade Exposition or the Mid-Winter Frolic in January, 1924 or the building of Emmaus Church in 1923, Elim Luther Church in 1924, the Redeemer Lutheran Church in 1924, the Bible Church in 1933.
