Object history
Object history note This file contains one photo depicting the city hall from
the 1930s, a photocopied picture of the first post office,
and what looks like a handout describing a short hidtory of
the city hall building. Also included is a booklet put out
by the Robbinsdale Chamber of Commerce in 1964 (?),
depicting various statistics about the city, as well as
listing important buildings, businesses, churches, and other
information about the city. Added are two original photos
used by the Post for an art exhibit held at the City Hall
from October 1996, a newspaper cutout depicting Robbinsdale
city assessor Paul Richter finishing the tax roll with his
assistant Linnea Falls from June 28, 1956, as well as a
laminated piece of paper listing the election records
(ballot possibly?) from November 1916 through November 1920,
including slots for President, Governor, Mayor, and
Congressman. Recently added are two newspaper articles, one
about the destruction of the original Crystal City Hall, the
other about the history of the Robbinsdale Village Hall.
There is also a reporduced photo of the original Crystal
City Hall.
