Object history
Object history note A collection of artifacts of Cooper High School, including
photos and programs describing school superintendent E.J.
Cooper, photos of the school’s design, a program
commemorating the school’s opening in 1965, and several
newspaper articles describing noted teachers at the school,
Guy Stewart, Vern Hollister, and Ron Chagnon, as well as
other articles describing past alumni, St. Paul Saints
announcer Eric Webster, slain Minneapolis police officer
Lisa Croal, and the class of 2000, as well as a bizarre
article about a Minnesota opera singer (Kimm Julian) who was
stabbed in an accident. Recently added to the file are four
photos used for the post, one featuring a new Mac computer
lab at Cooper another depicting work being done on the
school’s football field, another featuring the school’s
liasion officer, and another featuring members of Cooper’s
All-State Choir competitions.
