Object history
Object history note This file contains several artifacts for the Elim Lutheran
Church. There are several photos, some original and some
reproduced, including one from the church’s contruction by
H.J. Henrickson in 1921, and others including Pastor C. Ward
Nerothin and other congregation members. There are also
several newspaper articles on the church, including topics
such as the Ladies Aid group that preceeded the church, the
church’s opening in 1922, and a review of the church’s first
16 years. There is also a packet of information that
includes a program for the church’s 75th anniversary, as
well as typed histories of the church for their 75th and
80th anniversaries. There are also several lists in these
files that include pastors who worked for the church as well
as different sections of the congregations. Added are two
photos depicting evvents at Elim Lutheran, including a pig
roast at an unknown date and a soup luncheon 11/11/97.
