Object history note This file contains information on the Masonic Lodge and
Eastern Star organizations, including a photo of the temple
building, a newspaper article describing member initiation
of the Eastern Star group from 1940, a typed chronology of
the Compass Lodge organization, dating back to 1905,
photocopies of legal documents pertainig to the donation of
land for the masonic building dated from 1911 amd from
attorney Joseph Hudson Morse as well as a photocopy of the
survey layout for the temple building marked from 1997 and
signed byb Herb F. Lemire, as well as two programs for the
Eastern Star’s Public Installation of Officers from 1944, as
program for the 2007-2008 Easten Star organization, and two
booklets, one for the 50th Anniversary of the Eastern Star
from 1971, and for the 75th Anniversary of the organization
from 1996
