Waiting for the Mail at the Depot

mailPerly Malbon was the village mailman for many years. In early years of the twentieth century, mail bags were tossed off trains at the Robbinsdale Depot and pushed back to the post office in a cart for sorting.

  1. WONDERFUL OLD PHOTOS. I REMEMBER THE OLD TRAIN DEPOT, BUT NOT THE MAIL BAGS. THAT MUST HAVE BEEN BEFORE MY MEMORY BANKS STARTED TO FILL UP.
