In 1949 a copy of Mrs. Hartig’s History of Robbinsdale was buried in the cornerstone of Lee Elementary School.

Published here are the concluding pages of her manuscript.

Left: The Village Hall of Crystal Village, erected 1888. Right: A tongue-in-cheek commentary on the “burial and rebirth” of Robbinsdale when, in 1938, the Village of Robbinsdale became a City.

This is part 3 of 3 in a series depicting Mrs. Hartig’s original, hand-corrected manuscript.
