The speaker will be Rebecca Crass, a member of Faith Lilac Way Lutheran Church and co-chair of the church’s 75th Anniversary committee. She will show at short video on the history of the church and talk about the process of documenting the history of Faith Lilac Way, part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Established in 1943, Faith Lilac Way is now a member of the WILDFIRE Churches: eight faith communities united in one spirit, connecting church to church and neighbor to neighbor, sharing resources, support, and mission. Faith Lilac Way also hosts the Robbinsdale Diggers Garden Club and the Hennepin County Horticultural Society, as well as Dinner at your Door and other community service projects.
Membership meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the months March, April, May, September,October and November. We meet at 1:00 p.m. in the old Robbinsdale Library at 4915 42nd Avenue North.
